The idea for The Business Author began in a small coffee shop in New York City, where Samantha Rhodes, a seasoned business consultant, noticed a frustrating pattern: talented, driven entrepreneurs were often overwhelmed by confusing, jargon-filled advice and unreliable resources. She knew there had to be a better way.
With over a decade of experience helping startups and solo founders grow, launch, and succeed, Samantha wanted to create a space where honest, simple, and effective business advice could thrive. And so, The Business Author was born in 2025. What started as a way to share real-world strategies and tools has quickly grown into a trusted resource for business owners all over the world.
We may still be in the early days, but we’re already reaching thousands of readers every month, sharing tools, templates, and success stories that are both inspiring and practical.

Meet Samantha Rhodes – Founder & Business Consultant
Samantha Rhodes is a business consultant and strategist with over 10 years of experience working with startups, small businesses, and solo founders. After spending years helping her clients launch, grow, and even sell their businesses, Samantha recognized a significant gap in the advice available to entrepreneurs — too much fluff and too little practicality.
In response, she launched The Business Author to give entrepreneurs access to strategies, tools, and insights that actually work. As a consultant, Samantha has worked with businesses across various industries, including tech, e-commerce, and service-based businesses. Her hands-on approach and passion for clear, actionable advice have made her a trusted voice in the entrepreneurial community.
When she’s not writing or consulting, Samantha enjoys coffee (lots of it), reading business books, and mentoring budding entrepreneurs.
